BROCKPORT COMMUNITY BIG BAND

The Brockport Community Big Band, conceived of by Lorie Bryant and directed by Neil R. Hartwick, started up in January 2005. Members include nearly two dozen professionals and community residents who have come together to pursue their love for performing big band jazz--and are they inspired! They provide a quality and style of music that has become a source of enjoyment and pride for the community.

Members of the Big Band met in September 2005 to adopt bylaws enabling them to operate as a Not-For-Profit Corporation, and elected the following officers: President, Lorie Bryant; Vice President, Mark Ketchum; Secretary, Karen Caffery; Treasurer, Phillip St.George; Public Relations Coordinator, Norm Frisch; Music Director, Neil Hartwick.
