Assemblyman Reilich in Brockport to Announce State Funding

Assemblyman Bill Reilich paid a visit to the Village of Brockport last week to discuss state funding opportunities with Village officials.

While in Brockport, Reilich informed Mayor Mort Wexler that he was able to secure state dollars for the purchase of benches on the north side of the canal. The present benches are in poor condition and are often targets of vandalism. The grant will fund the replacement of six of the current type with cast iron frame benches.

“Of the recent cultural and recreational improvements you see in the Village- from the Tower Clock restoration to the upgrades at Harvester Park and the Havenwood Tot Lot- many are a direct result of state assistance obtained by Assemblyman Bill Reilich,” said Wexler. “And for that, we cannot thank him enough.”
