Senator Maziarz, Assemblyman Reilich Secure State Grants for Brockport:
VILLAGE OF BROCKPORT, October 6, 2006 - - The Village of Brockport is the recipient of over $40,000 in member initiative grants, thanks to the efforts of Senator George D. Maziarz and Assemblyman Bill Reilich.
The Village’s New York State delegation secured $1,200 in funds to be targeted for audio/visual equipment upgrades at the Village Hall conference room and obtained an additional $40,000 for the replacement of the Village’s aging salt barn at the Public Works facility.
“We are very pleased with the cooperative efforts by our officials in bringing State monies into the Village of Brockport,” said Mayor Morton Wexler. “In Senator Maziarz and Assemblyman Reilich, you have two lawmakers who have the best interests of the local resident in mind when they analyze grant requests. We are grateful for their assistance.”
