PRESS RELEASES - Village of Brockport Another Grant For Brockport VILLAGE OF BROCKPORT, June 8, 2007 Village of Brockport Receives Grant for Concert Series The Village’s Annual Summer Serenades Concert Series, which kicked off Thursday June 7th with a performance from the Brockport High School group Mad Vocals, will be underwritten this year with recently announced grant support from the Rochester Area Community Foundation. The Village was awarded $2,000 through the Community Foundation’s Community Enrichment Fund towards the operation of the popular summer series. The concerts, which run every Thursday night from 7-9 through the end of August, are held at Sagawa Park in Downtown Brockport and regularly attract hundreds of people to Brockport’s historic commercial district in a family-friendly showcase of local musical talent.
