Wish List

In order to develop projects to improve walking and biking experiences within the greater Brockport area, we have a number of projects that fall into the category of our “wish list:”

• Completion of Brockport’s Main Street Reconstruction which will include curb-outs , distinct pedestrian street crossing signs and a new round-about at the intersection of East and West avenues. This round-about will serve as the gateway to the Village of Brockport.
  
  
• Finishing the renovation and repairs of our Smith Street bridge that spans the Erie Canal, enabling walkers and bikers to travel north and south over the Canal.
  
  
• Completion of the new walking trail in the Town of Sweden’s recreation park noted earlier.
  
  
• Development of new trails linking this trail with a trail system leading north to Lake Ontario.
  
  
• Development of new trails linking this trail with a trail system extending from Bergen Swamp to Lake Ontario.
