It is the time of year when our Department of Public Works removes parts of or all of village trees that may be unhealthy and a possible safety hazard.  Please be advised that trees are assessed for health and risk; a tree may appear healthy but be rotted on the inside or exhibiting signs of blight that will render it a hazard in the near future.

We are proud of our Tree City USA designation and our urban forest is a priority for us, which includes trimming, removal, and replanting from time to time.
