Many of us closely followed the Minneapolis trial of Derek Chauvin these last few weeks. Yesterday, he was held accountable for the murder of George Floyd. We exhaled at this first important step towards justice, but it is only the beginning. Every community in the United States of America, including Brockport, must work to understand and eliminate racism.
