In partnership with the On the Canals program, the Village of Brockport has been able to purchase snow shoes and winter trekking poles in a variety of weight limits. We will be traveling along the canal starting at the Main Street lift bridge parking area and traveling west and then turn around and return to the beginning. Our mode of transportation will be snow shoes or if there is not enough snow, we will be hiking it.
Gather your family and friends to experience the beauty of winter, and the snow firsthand on snow shoes. It is also peaceful along the canal with lots of winter wildlife. It is suitable for beginners of any age and fitness level. If you can walk, you can snowshoe.
