Except for intermittent jackhammering of concrete, work on the Main Street bridge is not as obvious as in previous weeks. Some of the concrete in the pits and its walls, along with flooring is being replaced; also a short segment of the canal walls near the bridge abutment. The original concrete counterweights have been sawed into pieces ready to be removed by crane. Still waiting on Erie Painting to install the containment tenting to sandblast the lead paint from the trusses at 7 North Main. All work on the bridge is still on schedule.
