Public Input Session – All Welcome

The Village of Brockport will hold a public input session on July 29 from 6-8pm at the Seymour Library.  Input from Brockporters of all ages is welcomed and encouraged.  Please come give your input on quality of life and issues that matter to the future of Brockport.

At a special meeting of the Village Board, January 10th, Fisher Associates presented their plans for the pedestrian and cyclist upgrades to the bridge, the wall repairs, and the sidewalks.  Complete information will be in the minutes from the meeting when they are posted.

Importantly, the bridge will continue to have stoplights, upgraded to video detection stoplights, which are triggered by a car or bicycle, eliminating the current programmed waiting.  A  5’ wide diamond plate steel strip (shown on right side of lane in the photo) will run down the center of the bridge for bicycles.
