Village Hall, Courts, DPW, and the Police (administrative office) are closed Thursday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day.  Thank you to all of our community members who have and continued to serve.

All offices will open for regular hours on Friday, November 12.

Ask the Village Historian @ Seymour Library on Mondays

Brockport's Light Spectacular and Parade Return to Main Street

The Stetson Club is happy to bring this treasured tradition back to Main Street, complete with Santa lighting the Christmas tree and fireworks (sponsored by Sunnking).

The parade route stretches from the roundabout to Holley Street.

Brockport Toy Shelf 2021

Phone applications will be accepted starting November 29 at 585-752-6562.

Distribution appointments will be scheduled for December 18 and 19 at Oliver Middle School Cafeteria.

Flyers will be sent home with Brockport Central School Students just before Thanksgiving.

Volunteer sign-up information will be forthcoming.

Toy and monetary donations can be dropped off at State Farm, Village Hall, or c/o Charlene Veltz 12 Glendale Road Brockport, NY 14420

If you are interested in the agenda for the Village Board meeting on 11-01-21, during which time a public hearing will be held on the topic of whether or not to opt-out of cannabis retail stores and places of consumption within the village, please find it here.  Zoom login information is available on the agenda.  If you'd like to attend in person, please join us at 7pm at the Large Group Instruction Room at Oliver Middle School, 40 Allen Street.  Masks are required.

Street Closure October 23

Please see the flyer below for details regarding street closures due to the SUNY Brockport Homecoming Parade on Saturday October 23 from 10:30-11:30am (Clinton Street will close at 9:30).

Affected streets are Clinton Street, Main Street, College Street, Utica Street, and Residence Drive.

Public Hearing Notice Regarding Cannabis

Please take notice that the Village of Brockport will hold a Public Hearing beginning at 7:00pm during the regularly scheduled Village Board meeting, November 1, 2021, in person at Oliver Middle School, Large Group Instruction (LGI) Room, 40 Allen St., Brockport, NY 14420. This meeting will also be offered via Zoom, the link will be included on the Village Board Agenda available prior to the meeting at http://www.brockportny.org/government/village-board/minutes-and-agendas. The public hearing is to consider the topic of cannabis sales and consumption establishments within the Village of Brockport.

Public comment on this topic will be taken at the meeting in person, or via Zoom. Comments will also be accepted through the month of November for consideration and can be addressed to the Village Board and submitted to Village Hall at 127 Main. St., Brockport, NY 14420. The Village Board has scheduled a vote on this topic at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Village Office Closures

October 6, 2021

Village Hall Offices (127 Main St.) will close at noon on Thursday, 10-7-21, for staff development.  Village Hall will reopen Friday at 8:30 am, any correspondance can be left in the locked drop box on the driveway. 

All Village Offices will be closed on Monday, 10-11-21 for Columbus Day/Indigenous People's Day and will reopen Tuesday, 10-12-21 at 8:30 am.

Notice of Unpaid Taxes to Property Owners

If taxes for unpaid properties remain unpaid as of October 31, 2021, they will be turned over to Monroe County for collection, and they will be re-levied on your January 2022 Monroe County Tax Bill. As of now, you owe 8% penalty to the Village on taxes. Once taxes are re-levied, they are subject to additional penalties imposed by the County.
