Brush Truck Delivery - Temporarily Suspended
The DPW is not able to deliver brush trucks to resident homes for the next 2 weeks. We plan to resume this service August 31st. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Residents of Park Ave
A letter was hand delivered last week notifying residents that the Water Department needed to shut off water on Park Ave., on Tuesday, August, 4th from 9 am to Noon. The Water Department is abandoning the old 4" water line.

The suspension of open meetings law has been extended through August 5, 2020. The regularly scheduled village board meeting will be held on 7/20/20 at 49 State St. This meeting will be closed to the public but available on the Village of Brockport Facebook Page, live streamed, and will be video recorded and posted on this website. Village of Brockport has several board and committee vacancies. Volunteers must be a village resident.
• Zoning Board of Appeals – meets 1st Thursday 6pm at Village Court (upon application only).
Note: a minimum of 4 hours of training is required each fiscal year. 1 vacancy, 5-year term.
• Planning Board – meets 2nd Monday 6pm at Village Court (upon application only).
Note: a minimum of 4 hours of training is required each fiscal year. 1 vacancy, 5-year term.
• Ethics Board – meets only as needed, 1 vacancy, 4-year term.
• Welcome Center Advisory Board – multiple vacancies, 3-year term.
• Parks Committee – 1 vacancy, 4-year term.
• E.L.K. Museum Board – 2 vacancies, 3-year term.

Boating on the Canal / Docking
Due to Covid-19, the Brockport Welcome Center is currently closed. This includes bike borrowing and public restrooms.
Docks are available for mooring. We will not be registering boats or charging dock fees this year, as they will not have access to the Welcome Center facilities.

WATER MAIN BREAK: Please be aware that the Department of Public Works is currently working to repair a water main break on Westwood Drive. The water will need to be off for 3-4 hours, from Frazier to the cul-de-sac.
VILLAGE PLAYGROUNDS OPENING TODAY! (6/12/20)
PLAYGROUNDS OPENING TODAY: If you choose to visit Village playgrounds, please follow the CDC guidelines:
• Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet away from people you don’t live with.
• Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
**Adults and older children who can safely use hand sanitizer: Use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol and rub hands together until dry, if soap and water are not readily available.
• Wear a cloth face covering, if you can. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on:
**Children under age 2;
**Anyone who has trouble breathing;
**Anyone who is unconscious, can’t move, or is otherwise unable to remove the cloth face covering without assistance.
