Parking Enforcement

The Village of Brockport Police Department is responsible for enforcing the parking ordinance within the Village of Brockport.  There is no parking on all village streets from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. every day of the week.

Village Parking Lots:

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between the hours of 2 a.m. and 7a.m. no vehicle can be parked in the parking lot between Kings Street and Erie Street, the West lot (side closest to Main Street) on Water Street, and in front of the Welcome Center located at 11 Water Street.
  • On Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 2a.m. and 7a.m. no vehicles can be parked in the parking lot South of Erie Street (Parking Lot of the Frontier Tower), the South side lot on Water Street, the Market Street lot (Brockport Fire Department Lot), East lot North of Water Street, and the 1 Clinton Street lot (Brockport Police Department lot).

Any further questions regarding parking can be directed to an on-duty Brockport Police Officer or refer to the Brockport Village Code Chapter 34.

Media BulletinFor Immediate ReleaseOn October 4, 2024, the Brockport Police Department was called to a single-family residence within the Village of Brockport for the report of a Burglary that had just occurred. The Brockport Police Department immediately responded, but no suspect was located. The victim reported that a motorcycle was stolen from the property during the time of the Burglary. An investigation into the incident was initiated, which spanned well into the following weeks.On October 12, 2024, the Brockport Police Department, along with the assistance of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Ogden Police Department and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle’s Investigations Section, executed a search warrant, signed by Monroe County Court Judge Douglas Randall at 2425 Union Street in Spencerport, New York. During the search warrant, evidence was located furthering the investigation into the aforementioned reported crime. On November 4, 2024, the Brockport Police Department arrested Brian Keith Bennett (7/10/1992), of East Rochester, New York at the conclusion of the investigation. Bennett was charged with the following crimes related to the aforementioned incident. PL – 140.25 sub (2) Burglary in the Second Degree – (C) FelonyPL – 155.35 sub (1) Grand Larceny in the Third Degree – (D) FelonyPL – 165.08 Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the First Degree – (D) FelonyPL – 165.50 Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree – (D) FelonyPL – 170.70 sub (2) Illegal Possession of a Vehicle Identification Number – (E) FelonyPL – 165.09 sub (1) Auto Stripping in the Third Degree – (A) Misdemeanor Bennett was arraigned in front of Honorable Judge William Andrews and was subsequently released to Pre-Trial Services with a future court date.
